National Thank You Day (October 20)

As a kid, I have learned to always say thank you even for little favors that I get from friends and even complete strangers.

Have you ever noticed that a nice smile and a sweet thank you can brighten a slumped, tired and irritated MRT ticket salesperson, a bank teller, or a grocery cashier and bagger?

Whenever a complete stranger gives up his seat for me in a bus or the MRT, I say thank you for his gentlemanly ways.

Saying thank you is a way to appreciate even for little things that a person has done for me.

Thank you is such a lovely phrase. Say it! Out loud!

We are celebrating the 1st National Thank You Day on October 20.

I would also like to share with you this simple Thank You Note for my other half:

There are things that are better left unsaid. Seems like we were brought together across the miles after all these years for a purpose.

When we find ourselves asking why just now, why it took that long…..just believe that the waiting time was all worth it.

I want to thank you for loving me the way you do..for hanging with me and grasping my hands in our rollercoaster ride….

PS. Our photos here may have been taken at a different time, in a different place. But somehow, along the way, we were together even way before…playing the grand piece in the pianos of our time….I love you so much! Thank you so much!
